Our New Little Addition!

Baby Mack is here! He was born January 12th at 8:39am and he weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long.....and he is really freaking cute! He came out with a head full of light brown hair which I was shocked with! I was picturing a blonde little Chase but I guess he wanted to look more like his mama! I'm totally obsessed with him and just love him to death! He was 4 days past my due date and when I went in for my doctors appointment the day before he was born the doc discovered that he was breach and not only breach but frank breach so instead of inducing me the next day we scheduled a c-section! I was kinda nervous but I actually ended up liking it! Everything went really good and he is a healthy baby! He has been really good with eating and sleeping and I couldn't of asked for a more perfect little boy! Sorry about all the many, many pictures, but can you blame me?

4 more weeks till this little guy comes!!!

  1. So I know it has been forever as usual, but boy have we had alot going on! I meant to post these cute pics of the baby forever ago! This is him at 23 weeks and 5 days.... I love the 3D one, I didn't know she was going to do a 3D one so that was really fun! You cant see his face, but its a really good shot of his arm and cute little hand and ear....I'm getting so anxious to see him and can't believe that I only have four weeks left and he will be here ( maybe sooner?) Ahhhh! I hope I'm ready! I guess ready or not, right? We have been busy getting ready for the baby, we got the salon finished along with other things in the basement, and busy with the holidays! All the craziness has really made the pregnancy go fast though, so I guess that is good thing! Here are alot of pics of everything that has been going on!Chase putting the crib together!

The cute bedding that my Mom made for the crib! She is amazing! My sister Cecily made the mobile to match, she did such a good job!

Here is the cute cradle that he will be in first, and of course the cute bedding is made by my Mom. My Dad cleaned up the cradle and fixed a few things that needed to be fixed and made it look as good as new! It has been in the fam since my moms brother was born and us and all the cousins have slept in it, so pretty fun that I get to use it now!

Do you all remember that great big hole that was dug in my backyard? Thank heavens it is gone now and I have grass back down on a level yard again! I think Chase and Jake thought I was nuts cause I went out and sat on in it and just wanted to roll around in it like a little kid cause I was so excited while they were laying the sod! Then the biggest project of all that was finished is half of the basement! Everything turned out great and I'm in love with it! The Salon has been perfect and I have just loved working from home and making my own schedule and it will be so nice once I have the baby! My friend Annie is using my other chair and it has been so fun having her here! The tile for the back splash behind the counter and sink still needs to be done then it will be complete! It really has been the best thing ever!

Didn't my Dad and Chase do great? My Dad did some awesome lighting! I just love it all!
The Hall got finished too! Isn't it pretty?

The bathroom was what Chase was most excited about! He wanted a sweet tile wall for the tub/shower and this is what him and his step dad came up with! I think it turned out nice! Good work boys!

Now we just need to finish the family room and it will be done! I think we are going to take a little break though. Next focus is getting Christmas over with and getting this baby here!

It's a Boy!

Wow, I know I haven't blogged in forever so sorry everyone! So if you couldn't guess from the title, for all of you who don't know yet, we are going to have a baby and it's going to me a mini Chase! I know- I'm all ready 20 weeks and we just started telling everyone for sure now ( and i kinda need to cause I'm for sure showing now!). So sorry friends! We have been a little hesitant to say a whole lot because of a couple troubles in the past and this one has given us a couple scares as well! We went to the doctor Thursday and the baby is looking great and things are looking good! I can't wait! We are so excited but it seems so unreal at the same time! Here are some pictures of the baby! This was my 6th ultra sound and every time I get one the baby is moving around like crazy! I hope this doesn't mean he is going to be wild! Anyways, we were not able to get a good shot of his face and profile cause he would move every time she would go to take it. But of course we got a great one of his boy parts! A true boy all ready! His little feet are cute too! I have another ultra sound next month though so hopefully he will cooperate with that one! We have also been really busy trying to get our basement finished. It has been alot of work, well for Chase and my Dad anyways! I wish I could help do more but I find myself just throwing out orders and telling them what I want and trying to keep them fed! We for sure couldn't be doing this with all of my Dads help! He knows how to do alot and has been a really big help! I think he spends all his extra time at our house. We should just set up a room for him! Thanks and Love ya Dad! And of course thanks to Chase and him picking up extra work at Sundance so we can have some extra money so i can get all the lovely things I'm dreaming of for the basement and dealing with all the pregnancy emotions and being strong for me when the baby scares have happened! He is definitely more brave then me! Love you babe! And since I'm thanking everyone I also need to say thanks to my Mom for helping with cleaning my house and making me and chase food while I had to be down for a bit I hope she realizes how much I really appreciated it! And Thanks to all my friends at work for being so nice and helping me out with my clients and being so concerned and the visits! Here are some pictures of all the basement work! Digging the hole for the stairs for the walk in basement!
