Merry Christmas Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I haven't made a post for a while as usual so I have a few pictures including some of our new house. People have been begging me to post it forever so here is some of it. This is our cute little Christmas tree. Then me and Cec made caramel chocolate covered pretzels and yummy popcorn one night in the new kitchen. Then there is a picture of the family area with the fireplace that we redone along with the office and entry way with the fun arch ways, one of my favorite parts about the house, and our bedroom.

The Monthly Update

Well it seems as though I only update my blog once a month so I better do it before November is over. I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving! We did and we ate lots of yummy yummy food. I love eating! We have just been busy, busy doing house projects on our new home.... oh ya, we bought our first house!!! Way exciting and so much fun, I love having a house. Now I am decorating it for Christmas and it is so fun to do it for the first time. My favorite part is having a fireplace with a mantle to hang the stockings... I just love it! Anyways, sorry there are no pictures, I know that is more fun than reading a long post. I hope you all have a good holiday season. I'll post again in a month. HaHaHa. I will try harder!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!
So as you can see Chase and I dressed up as Popeye and Olive Oyle. This is the first time we have dressed up with a couple costume and it ended up being pretty fun! Chase wasn't so sure about the whole thing at first but I thougt it fit us perfect and i thought we ended up looking pretty cute together, even though I felt really ugly in that wig. Oh well, it's Halloween right? We went to two of our friends halloween partys and they were alot of fun and everyone had some sweet costumes! Remember to eat your spinach! :)

Park City Excitment!

So on Wed. we went up to Park City with some friends. We were being matchmakers. Us and Capt. Jolly and Julia set up Chase's cousin Jake with cute Briley. It was tons and tons of fun. We laughed all night and screamed really loud all night ( well us girls anyways....especially Julia!) Have any of you ridden the roller coaster there. Oh my gosh it was a blast. I never had done it before. It was kinda scary at the same time, kinda! So y'all should go and call me when you do because I want to go. Here are some pictures of our crazy wild night!

Fire Orientation

So because of the Pleasant Grove Fire department going full time all the guys that were hired were presented to the city council with the mayor and given their badge. It was a pretty cool thing for the guys because they made a historical mark for the city and the fire department by being the first full time firefighters in P.G. These are some of the pictures from the day with the Mayor and all the guys in front of the Engine for a picture in the paper and one of his team! It was a fun day!

Brittney update!

So just to let ya all know what is going on with Brittney. She has been doing really well. The first week home was not fun and she doesn't remember a whole lot about being home for the first couple days. This past week she made some good improvement and was able to get ready on her own, she even attempted the parade in Lehi Friday night. That pretty much done her in and she was ready to go home and go to bed. Everyday she is doing better though and her head just hurts and she is dizzy mostly. She is doing good and all of us are really happy that she is. We will find more out about Tim probably tomorrow.

My poor little sister and her husband!

So my sister and my family had a big scare the other day. On Tuesday Brittney's husband had his year checkup on the cancer that he had a year ago in his eye. They got rid of it a year ago but when they went in to the doctor on Tuesday they found something in his other eye, so the doctor sent him right to the surgical center to get a biopsy to see if it has come back. So if that is not horrible enough it even gets worse. Me and my sisters are known for our weak stomachs. We will pass out just like that. So Tim was starting to wake up from his surgery and Brittney was on the side of his bed feeding him some jell-o and she started feeling sick and told Tim that she was going to pass out. Before she could sit down she went stiff as a board and fell straight backwards onto the floor and hit her head very very hard. She was really out of it and never really came to. She had a huge goose bump on the back of her head and was bleeding a bit. They ended up transporting her by ambulance to the hospital because there was no way she was able to get into the car with me and my mom. The doctor looked at her and said it wasn't good and sent her right in for a CT scan. I was so worried. Come to find out she has fractured her skull, has bruising on her brain and internal bleeding! Fortunately it wasn't bad enough to do surgery and it will just heal on its own. They took more CT scans yesterday and today and nothing looks different which is good because that means the bleeding has stopped. She has been at Utah Vally Hospital and hopefully she will come home tomorrow if she can eat some more and get up and walk a little. She is in tons of pain and they say it will be like this for about 3 weeks! The poor thing can hardly talk and cant even get up to go to the bathroom. I feel so bad and really hope she heals soon. I HATE seeing her like this, it just makes me sick! It scared me so much. When she gets better she is going to kill me for putting these pictures of her on here. Her totally out of it on the bed and Tim right next to her with his eye in pain with a ice on it. So sad! Get well soon you two!!

"They call me a Fireman"

Yay!!! Congrats to my hubby Chase. Chase now has a full time job with the Pleasant Grove Fire Department as a Firefighter and Paramedic! We are way excited. He has been busy testing with three different departments this past month and we are so glad it is over. He tested really well in Provo as well and was number two on the hire list. He decided to go with Pleasant Grove because he loves it there so much. He has been working there for the past 8 months doing paid call. He enjoys it alot and likes all the guys there. His cousin Jake also got hired on too. This is a picture of the both of them and what they do on down time..... play X- box. They were even put on the same team and are partners. They are way excited, they are good buddies. He is also excited about his schedule. He will be 2 days on and then 4 days off. Anyways, we are really excited and I am really proud of him!

A nice day for a hike

So Chase and I finally had the same day off for once. It was so nice to spend the day together instead of just seeing him late a night before we go to bed. Chase started his clinicals for paramedic school last week and now his scheduale is even more crazy. His first day as an intern was at the Orem community hospital in Labor and Delivery but no one even had a baby that day in the 12 hour shift that he was there. Anyways.... so today we went on a hike up at Grove Creek in P.G. I had never hiked that trail before and it ended up being longer than I thought. I think that is only because I am out of shape though. It was fun though and there were alot of fun waterfalls to see.

Yes ! I am back in blogging action! This better work! I am so excited that spring is finally here! Yay, I bought some new shorts the other day and can't wait to break them out hopefully soon. Me and Chase had a good Easter. He got me two new pairs of shoes, oh how I love shoes! I got him some new shirts because he has kinda grown out of his other ones! He says he is getting fat I tell him it is all new mucle! He is HOT! I love him tons! For my Birthday he got me and massage and a salt scrup, I was in Spa Heaven!!! Now I am silky smooth and my back is moving a little better now! Thanks Babe! Today Chase's brother Andrew left on his mission. He is going to Atlanta Georgia. He is way excited! He will do such a good job! He has a great testimony and the Spirit is really with him. Those Georgia girls better watch out, cause they have a cute missionary headed their way!

Hi everyone! I know I am really bad at updating my blog. Arin ran into my mom the other day and told her to tell me to update. I guess I need a reminder. Everything is going great with us. I am still just busy with work and Chase is enjoying paramedic school. He brought home IV needles one day and wanted to practice on me and of course I said no way! I want to pass out right now just writing about it. Anyways, enough of that. Well I just tried uploading some pictures for you but it is not working for some reason. So I will try again another day. Sorry.
